As the primary manufacturer of all Human Resources, Cyto Organics is the undisputed leader in their field. Their universal headquarters is on Earth, but they are also part-owners of Maternity Station, alongside Evtola Innovation, and Obelisk, and maintain a sizeable workforce there.
History
Informally established alongside the OEA, Cyto Organics existed as a loose conglomerate of researchers and pioneers in genetic studies. It wasn’t until 2250EE that the corpo was formally founded. About that time, the first Human Resources were also unveiled, which were little different than mechanical drones. These first HRs were not born as modern HRs, but were prisoners meant to be put to death. Having been given the opportunity to advance mankind, many volunteered to undergo various procedures. These procedures amounted to lobotomizations, and other methods of removing willpower. After, subjects underwent surgical alteration to varying degrees.
Ultimately, the first Human Resources were naturally born men and women, whom were reduced to a robotic, trance-like state of following orders. Their lifespans were short, and many eventually broke their programming, simply ceasing to eat, rest, and function.
It is not known who’s idea it was to start a Human Resource at the zygote level, but it proved successful. Since then, all Human Resources are manufactured from this point. This crucial and foundational stage allows for the HR’s every trait to be chosen by the Consignee.

Implants & Prosthetics
While being far from the first to do so, Cyto Organics prides itself on having pioneered successful surgical implantation of various chips, sensors, electrical pathways, and all manner of bio-technical information processors. Due mostly to their work on HRs, the company was also the first to show the largely beneficial results of both implants and advanced prosthetics within men and women. From modifications to the eye, to limb replacement, and even full body swaps, the success of Cyto Organics bio-technic implants and prosthetics proved able to convince most Debtors of the benefits of luxury surgical alteration.
Human Resource Care
In the event that a unit is left abandoned or discarded, such as if a Consignee is negligent on payment, Cyto Organics also raises, teaches, and provides for units until homes or purpose can be found for them. Rarely, in such cases, is a unit destroyed, unless it was intended to be highly specialized and no other use exists.
To minimize harm to forgotten and discarded Human Resources, Cyto Organics found it both lucrative and beneficial for the Debtor public to take it upon themself to create homes for the elderly. These homes are entirely staffed with Human Resources, and so the only cost to the corpo is in supplying utilities, food, and occasional maintenance. Admittance fees reportedly outweigh these costs by ten times.
