N. Ciber Arms is a manufacturer of the finest weapons in the universe. Their weapons are intended to embody unmistakable design cues, without hindering performance or capability. Every weapon manufactured by N. Ciber Arms also comes standard with their proprietary firing report.
N. Ciber Arms also manufactures products not sold (“leased,” per Mr. Ciber) as weapons, such as ships, communication devices, and other unspecified technologies, of which, development is often dictated by the whims of Nathan Ciber, himself.
History
N. Ciber Arms was established by the famous explorer, philanthropist, and racer, Nathan Ciber.
It is said that, at twenty seven years of age, during one of his many exploits throughout the aether, Nathan Ciber had a run-in with pirates who’s weapons, though functional, were in a sad state of appearance. Upon defeating them, Ciber was left offended and barely alive. At this time, he is said to have encountered an interdimensional being of beauty and light. This being offered to save him, but on one condition: that he go on to make the most luxurious weapons dedicated to its glory. At that very moment, N. Ciber Arms was founded (officially, N. Ciber Arms was not founded as a company until two years later, in 2255EE).
Acquaintances of the man have reported that this story varies from telling to telling. Whatever the case, it cannot be denied that weapons bearing the brand of N. Ciber are among the most desirable on the market. Anyone with enough Chiun to own one, does so, and not only for their precision craftsmanship, but also as a symbol of status.

Firearms
N. Ciber Arms is known for its titular firearms. From handguns to rifles, and mounted cannons to high explosives, N. Ciber Arms is famous for producing the highest quality, and most expensive, weapons in the universe. All N. Ciber weapons are engraved, etched, stamped, or otherwise custom-designed with their famous, trademarked look of gaudy neon highlights, integrated laser cues, and smoke emitters. In spite of their striking appearance, perhaps, causing doubts about reliability, these design features are merely cosmetic, or, otherwise, by-products of the firing sequence, and do not detract from their functionality.
Ships
While N. Ciber Arms is best known for its firearms, Nathan Ciber is an avid racer both in aether focused circuits, and in atmosphere. Like their firearms, their ships are top quality, but usually priced outside of most pocketbooks.
A word from N. Ciber Arms CEO, Nathan Ciber:
“If one is an elite operator, say, for example, a Remedial Ascendancy Skirmishman, and the demands of his mission require stealth or subterfuge, then he should look elsewhere. Perhaps one of those other manufacturers, with their crude, boorishly designed poor excuses for weapons. Those charlatans, for example…oh, what was that name? That-that…[someone speaks off camera]. Yes, that was it. Benevolous’ company [Mr. Ciber is referring to Hellshok Corp.].”
Clarification from the Company:
Per CEO Nathan Ciber, in spite of many operators modifying their N. Ciber Arms weapons in order to “go dark,” N. Ciber Arms does not support any modification of its designs. Each weapon is a work of art, and an artist’s vision is not to be changed by anyone, unless said product is commissioned. N. Ciber Arms are produced at the expense and behest of Nathan Ciber, and are his personal property(ies), graciously leased to their holder(s) for a time specified in the PURCHASE CONTRACT.
Note from the Ascendancy:
The claim by Nathan Ciber, and N. Ciber Arms that purchased weapons are only sold to customers under lease is currently disputed in the Courts of the Ascendancy. No claim of a rightfully purchased firearm(s) or ship(s) or other N. Ciber Arms product(s) being sold on the open market under lease shall hold weight until the time that the Courts reach verdict. Until such time, N. Ciber Arms public offerings shall belong to the original purchasing entity, unless otherwise sold or transferred to a new owner.
