In the year 2243 the Ascendancy established a new faith called the Way of Eternal Enlightenment. It was promised that this faith would place the common needs, desires, and hopes of men first. No more would man have to rely on aloof gods, or absentee divine fathers and mothers. Now, man, by the sweat of his brow and the work of his hands, could carve out life in perpetuity. For that was the common goal which all men would now work toward: divinity of the self-made man.
This New Path of Man elaborated upon the ever-present TRUTH that there was no divinity, no afterlife which one would spend eternity in torment or bliss. No, it was this life, and this life alone that one had his chance to carve out a mortal kind of divinity. One of leisures and pleasure. Of satisfaction in work and familial relations. Of duty to the Ascendancy and the New Path of Man. Together, in and by man’s own universal divinity, his ability to shape reality, would the universe be brought low beneath the knowing gaze of mortal eyes.
In doing so, immortality is unwillingly made man’s. In doing so, man would surpass the need to eat, and think, and breed, and die. A transcendent and intransigent notion which would ultimately bear its fruit in the inevitable perpetuation of a singular mind formed of a great and vast multitude. Within this greater whole, the Way of Eternal Enlightenment, all mankind made one, would the perpetual Ascendancy be manifest.
It is this prime notion which the Ascendant adhere to, and which the Ascendancy, in its vast and perfect benevolence, gifted back to us from up-stream in the cycle of time, by then broken by future Ascendants, for having achieved that goal which we strive for, has labored so arduously to ensure all future generations have right and posterity in the New Path of Man. For this purpose, the Ascendancy does not rest until the infinite rise, being inevitable and already achieved, continues in prosperity and perpetuity ad infinitum.
Let man be ever faithful to his own soul, his own divinity. In this, those fellow Ascendant also achieving the life reach the same and inevitable conclusion, wherein the two become one, and the three, and four, and the thousand, and million, and billion. One body of one mind in one space — One man.
