Destined for greatness, never did a moment pass where Reelius was not contemplating how to best maneuver himself into positions of power. Always noted for his exceptional lack of empathy and intense brutality, he is a shining example of what a Pursuant General of the Vestiary should be, and to greater extent, what every Persecutor should be.
We first meet Prelate Reelius Asphorsus in 2270EE overlooking the final and desperate charge of the East Andes Dissident Guerrillas.
Biography
Born and raised in the Vestiary of Pursuers, Reelius is a descendant of several great historical figures among the Vestry. His lineage can be traced back to [REDACTED] which is around the time of the founding of the Vestiary, itself. For this reason, it is a commonly held belief among Pursuers that he ought to take up the mantle of Pontifex, and that he is the fulfillment of the Song of Prophecy.
Having been born before the Pogrom of 2255, Reelius was acquainted with the Betrayers, Zariah and Huldah Praxiteles. In fact, it was Reelius, whom was then a Prelate of the Council of Thirteen, that was chief among those to avenge the murder of Pontifex Douglas Kaarth, at the hands of the Betrayers.
In 2277EE, Reelius Asphorsus is Pursuant General of the Vestiary of Pursuers. It is rumored that he will soon be named Pontifex en’Tyro, becoming the new Pontifex after the six years preparation on Saturn under the hand of the Elders.
